Critical Notice — Read Before Using Any Tool

The calculators, decoders, and reference tools on PilotX360.com are provided for educational, reference, and planning assistance purposes only. They are not certified flight planning tools and must not be used as the sole basis for any operational flight decision. Always verify all performance data against your aircraft's approved Pilot Operating Handbook (POH) or Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) and obtain weather and NOTAM information from official authorised sources.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PilotX360.com (the “Site”) or any tool, calculator, decoder, or content provided on the Site, you (“User”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site. PilotX360 reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page.

2. Nature of the Service

PilotX360.com provides browser-based aviation calculators, weather decoding tools, and educational reference content for pilots and aviation students. Tools currently available include, without limitation:

  • METAR, TAF, SNOWTAM, and NOTAM decoders
  • Cloud base, density altitude, and pressure altitude calculators
  • Crosswind and headwind component calculators
  • Weight and balance calculators
  • Navigation planning and airspeed conversion tools

All calculations are performed locally in the User’s browser using publicly available formulae derived from International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards and publications.

3. No Warranty — Accuracy and Reliability

PilotX360.com is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of all calculations and reference content, PilotX360 does not warrant that:

  • Any calculation, result, or decoded output is free from error
  • Any tool is suitable for operational flight planning or dispatch purposes
  • The content reflects the most current ICAO, FAA, or EASA standards at the time of use
  • The Site will be available without interruption or that errors will be corrected
  • Performance estimates shown are applicable to any specific aircraft type or registration

Aviation standards, procedures, and regulations change. The User is solely responsible for verifying that any calculation or reference information is current, applicable to their specific aircraft and jurisdiction, and consistent with their aircraft’s approved documentation.

4. Critical Safety Disclaimer

PilotX360 tools are reference and study tools only. They are not a substitute for, and must not replace:

  • Performance data published in the aircraft’s current approved Pilot Operating Handbook (POH) or Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM)
  • Weight and balance calculations performed using the aircraft’s current approved weight and balance record
  • Weather information obtained from authorised aviation weather services (e.g. ATIS, D-ATIS, ATC, national aviation meteorological services)
  • NOTAM and SNOWTAM information obtained through official pre-flight briefing channels
  • Calculations performed by an operator’s certified dispatch or flight planning system
  • The judgement of a qualified and current flight instructor, dispatcher, or other licensed aviation professional

No tool on PilotX360.com has been certified, approved, or endorsed by ICAO, the FAA, EASA, the CAA, or any other civil aviation authority. Using PilotX360 tools as a primary or sole source for operational flight decisions is done entirely at the User’s own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PilotX360 and its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • The use of, or reliance on, any calculation, result, or content provided by the Site
  • Any error, inaccuracy, or omission in any tool or reference content
  • Any flight decision, aviation incident, accident, injury, or loss of life arising from the use of any PilotX360 tool
  • Interruption or unavailability of the Site
  • Any data loss resulting from the use of the Site

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damage was foreseeable and whether PilotX360 was advised of the possibility of such damage. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages — in such jurisdictions the liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. User Responsibilities

By using PilotX360.com, the User acknowledges and agrees that:

  • They are solely responsible for verifying all calculations against their aircraft’s approved documentation before any flight operation
  • They must obtain all required weather, NOTAM, and operational information from authorised official sources
  • They must comply with all applicable aviation regulations, including those of their national civil aviation authority, for any flight they conduct
  • They will not use PilotX360 as a replacement for formal flight training, ground school instruction, or approved flight planning systems
  • Any data entered into PilotX360 tools (e.g. aircraft weights, fuel loads, field elevation) is their own responsibility to verify for accuracy
